1. the completely enraged / the chiding one
If I ever go into politics I'm gunna get a really monstrous tan, give out a shit ton of free stuff to people that there's a good chance don't deserves it or don't even belong here, make a lot of false promises and then never fulfill them, and finally to make myself more appealing ill run my personal debt up to around 20,000,000. Wow I think I have a pretty good chance of getting elected president
Woohoo! Four more years of increasing the national debt, increasing unemployment, and bull crap policies! You have spoken your ignorant words America. Have fun eating them.
Pray just pray. :(
What our nation needs right now is prayer.
Well, maybe we can hope the world really ends in 6 weeks. If not, in 4 more years, we will hope it had.
I don't know what to say. I now reject the ideas of what America has now come to be, and accept its former values. We have accepted unemployment of 7.9% as "good enough", and approve of the distribution of 14 million more food stamps over the next 4 years. We now accept government stimulus over lower taxes. We accept big business being ran off of government bailouts over small business that are created by entrepreneurs. We have fundamentally changed, and I reject it.
"Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage. "
I personally regret this decision by the American people to move toward bondage.
America is screwed.
Well, this may be interesting to explain to the grandchildren....."They weren't thinking about ya'll, baby girl. Sorry about all the debt."
Why, America?
Great, another 4 years with a president I have no respect for with beliefs that I will never share. At this point in time I am NOT proud to be an American
2. the "never been more proud"
Once you go black, you never go back.
Barack and Roll!
Guys who wants to move to Canada? That way we can get more medical coverage!
Thank you, Ohio.
4 more years!!!! .... Let's get it!!!!
Glory to God in the highest! It's moments like this that I'm beyond proud to be an American!
3. the "I'm moving to [insert dream vacation location] for precisely 4 years; who's with me"
Alright Texas. Lets go back to being our own Country. #RedState #BooBlue
peace out america. i'm off to scotland.
Off to the beautiful beaches and mountains of New Zealand. Maybe I'll come back in 4 years...
4. the Bible verse or thankful one
At the end of the day, I ultimately take comfort in the fact that we have a perfect ruler in God himself. There is no greater thing.
Even when things don't go as hoped, I'm still blessed to be an American.
seriously, people are insinuating the rapture because their candidate didn't get elected? try having a little FAITH in Gods plan instead of assuming that we are in control in any way, shape, or form.
"The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all." -Psalm 103:19
God's will, God's way.
Thankful I live in a county where popular vote went to Romney. DUVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!
In the midst of all this political intrigue and the upcoming future of our blessed nation, I cannot help but remember Romans 13:1-7.
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

so over everyone's obnoxious political facebook posts. forreal.
I don't think I'm going to be visiting Facebook for a while... See ya.
All right. Now that all of this presidential nonsense is over with, lets focus on what really matters: how to fix the upcoming bacon shortage
My news feed currently has similar numbers of angry/depressed statuses, happy statuses, and funny, apathetic statuses, with only a few statuses about moving out of the US. It's nice to know I have such a healthy balance among my friends. I feel quite bipartisan. And very entertained.
Everyone's freaking out and I'm just sitting here like "I really want cake..."
Can't watch the election results anymore.. Too depressing. Sometimes I really do wonder... come on America, really?
YAY! No more annoying political ad campaigns!
My friends list on Facebook just got shorter. Am I apologetic? No.
Rough evening for survival of the fittest Facebook Edition
While trying to finish homework with one eye and to watch the elections results dribble in with the other, the question I'm most intrigued by is how many dead people will mysteriously cast a ballot this year? Nothing like fraud on a Tuesday night.....
6. the curve ball, props to you
Chill out, my Republican friends. The world will not go to crap just because Obama won. His unpopular policies will just fuel Republican candidates taking back the Senate in 2014 and the presidency in 2016. Although, I am sad that his policies will lead to thousands of more abortions compared to a Romney presidency.
Meanwhile, with practically evenly split House, Senate, and American population, with both sides experts in whining, we seem to still think it's the leader that's the problem? Hm.
The results of the election aside, I'm proud to be a female voter - an achievement in itself. Here's to many more opportunities to carry that title.
I think it would be cool if it was so close, the House of Reps got to choose our next POTUS. Hasn't happened in about 188 years, but it would be cool.
Democracy had a liberal bias.
Very humbling participating in my first election. Nothing like remembering regardless of gender, upbringing, sexual orientation or political affiliation we all have an equal vote. Too many people don't have that privilege in the rest of the world.
"do everything without complaining or arguing" - phil 2:14
what a challenge! are we checking ourselves in this season? pray for our president. he needs our prayers--he's got a big job ahead
Here are some more!
ReplyDelete"Here we go again....how log till he gets impeached? Not soon enough."
"Guys, seriously...the world is ending next month anyways. Why worry? Go to bed."
"I just wrote, and deleted, the largest, most impressive, post I have ever written. That being said, let me condense all of the information for you all: Obama won. Get over it... Sorry if you're butt hurt. Remember: the sun is going to rise tomorrow and your success and happiness in life doesn't fall on the shoulders of the president. It's up to you, bro. So you can sit and complain about the president, or you can move on with your life."
"Obama! Yes!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA......"
"Protect your paychecks, we got 4 more years of socialism headed our way."
"Interestingly enough, Obama winning the Presidential Election is the not the highlight of the night for the state of Colorado, where marijuana is now legal."
"Well well, it looks like someone needs to invest in new Magic Mormon Underpants"
"Remember everybody . Just because the election did not go the way you may have hoped, God IS STILL IN CONTROL.
Pray for your ALL your leaders. God Can turn their hearts. Remember He turned a Murdering Saul in to Paul!

"Bop Bop BOP Barack!!! Boppin to the Top on the Obama Train! I guess this means a lot of people will be moving to Canada... oh well, See ya later!"
"I can't wait for all the sore loser posts that will happen in about two hours from now."
